About The Competition
Shaolin Kung Fu, recognized globally as an intangible cultural heritage, boasts a rich history spanning thousands of years and a well-preserved tradition of transmission. It is a cultural legacy belonging to all of humanity. As the birthplace of Zen Buddhism and the spiritual center for Shaolin Kung Fu, the Shaolin Temple on Mount Song in China, together with the Six Continents Shaolin Federation, launched the 2023–2024 World Six-Continents Shaolin Kung Fu Examination.
This initiative aims to promote decentralization, empower regional autonomy, and inspire greater participation across continents and countries. It seeks to encourage multi-level engagement and cultural exchange, establish a consistent and sustainable model for Shaolin Kung Fu competitions, and enhance their standardization, international reach, and social influence. Additionally, the examination strives to elevate the global reputation of the Shaolin Kung Fu brand while attracting support and involvement from governments, associations, educational institutions, businesses, and the broader public worldwide.

少林功夫是享誉世界的非物质文化遗产，拥有绵延数千年的悠久历史和有序传承的传统，是全人类共同的文化瑰宝。作为禅宗祖庭和少林功夫的传承圣地，位于中国嵩山的少林寺与六大洲少林联合会共同发起了2023–2024世界六大洲少林功夫段品制考试的组织工作。
此次考试旨在推动权力下放，增强各大洲和各国的自主性与积极性，促进多层次参与与交流，实现少林功夫赛事的常态化与可持续发展，提升考试的规范化、国际化与社会化水平，打造少林功夫段品制的国际品牌形象。同时，本次考试也致力于吸引各国政府、协会、学校、企业及广大公众的广泛参与和支持。
